Aladdin is second to only Cinderella as the most popular pantomime in England. The story originates in the Arabian Nights Entertainments also known as: "The Thousand and One Nights". This collection of tales dates back to around the 15th Century although written in Egypt, they are thought to originally have been Persian legends.
Mountbatten Players welcome the opportunity to use the exotic locations in Aladdin to bring you spectacular costumes, sets and magical effects. The enduring story of a poor boy that makes good and marries his princess is as relevant to the 21st Century as it was back in the 15th and we hope our version inspires the adventurer in you to seek your fortune and find your purpose in life!
