A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTORS

Welcome to the magical, musical, and mischievous pantomime adventure of Aladdin!
Aladdin is a classic pantomime packed with enough jokes, slapstick, and silly songs to keep the whole family roaring with laughter. But Aladdin is more than just silly fun. It’s a story about the power of dreams, the importance of standing up for what you believe in, and the magic that can happen when we work together.
These are themes which especially resonate with us this year as we had some uncertainty about being able to produce a show at all - but we were determined that traditional, family pantomime in Eastleigh must go on! After a bit of a frantic start, we now are extremely proud of the show we are bringing you - all down to the dedication and hard work of our talented cast & crew.
As always, we are proud to be supporting Mountbatten Hampshire who are a charity that provides 24/7 inpatient and community domiciliary and palliative end-of-life care services to people across Southampton City and large parts of Hampshire. We have a very personal connection to Mountbatten Hampshire as Mountbatten Players was formed 35 years ago by some of the medical staff (including our fabulous Honorary Artistic Director Peter Pitcher) and we still rehearse in the hospice to this day!
So come join us on this whirlwind adventure. Sing along to the catchy tunes, cheer for the hero, boo the villain, and help us raise money for a truly worthy cause. We promise you a show full of laughter, music, and memories that will last a lifetime.
